Description
Flexible rubber bellows protect moving machine parts from dust, dirt and the like. The bellows minimize the risk of downtime and extend the lifetime of the machine. In addition, the bellows improve the working environment and safety by protecting machine operators and others from injury from contact with moving machine parts.
The folding bellows in the standard range are made of Molerit® - a thermoplastic material with rubber-like properties and good chemical resistance. The material (T59) has a hardness of 59.5 Shore A (DIN 53905), the color is black and the application temperature is between -32 °C and +70 °C (maximum temperature 85 °C). Molerit® is highly weather resistant, but has limited usability in contact with oil and grease.
