High quality and safety come from the smallest things
It may seem like a small thing - an approximately 20 mm rubber ball. But often a large part of the overall usage value lies in the quality of the small components.
This is the case, for example, in the rubber balls we at Betech supply to Cimbria, a world-renowned Danish manufacturer of field crop processing machinery.

Small components deserve big attention
For Cimbria, a world-renowned Danish manufacturer of food processing equipment and machinery, it's all about offering excellent efficiency and cleanliness.
In a series of cleaning and sorting machines, Cimbria has developed a unique system to clean the impurities from the valuable seeds, grains etc. The many rubber balls bounce up and down against a perforated screen, knocking the screen clean of grains of sand, soil etc. that fall through the perforations, while the larger, cleaned crops remain on the screen.
But a rubber ball is not just a rubber ball, because in this case there is food contact, which places very specific demands on the material.
When material choice really matters
In addition to meeting food contact requirements, the balls must bounce efficiently and continuously in relation to the mechanical energy they are activated by. In collaboration with Cimbria, Betech found the right rubber compound and developed a precise specification of the important rubber balls.
Cimbria cleaning machines illustrate an important point: even seemingly simple components can be crucial to the overall performance of the machine - both in terms of food safety and functional quality.
When material selection, design and manufacturing come together, solutions are created that:
- Increases efficiency
- Improves quality
- strengthens the end product

Measurable value for the business
Customized and optimized components create measurable value for your business. They reduce the risk of downtime, minimize the need for maintenance and extend the lifetime of the overall equipment. They also ensure a more stable process and consistent product quality - which has a direct impact on your production, delivery performance and finances.
Choosing quality components is therefore not just a technical decision, but a strategic investment in reliable quality, efficient operation, lower total cost of ownership and longer lifetime for your machinery and products.
